But your blogpost made me think, and think and then! Eureka! Why using sock yarn when I have a nice DK in my stash.....Ah! The joy of yarn stashing! ;-)Priegelbloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01269699046075898183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5700122686263848907.post-70505451399733198042015-09-02T18:35:51.212-05:002015-09-02T18:35:51.212-05:00Lovely shawl. Thank you for the inspiration.

Totally agree - one should never knit with undesirable yarn. No fun - and knitting is supposed to be fun. Isn't it? Saturday ...I know what you mean about the weather. Saturday felt like fall to me, but yesterday was hot and sunny. I'm not sure about today yet; it's hot but overcast--what's up with that? Anyway, I'm sure you'll find plenty of opportunities to use your new shawl. A lot of stores seem to overdo it with the air conditioning, so you could even use this shawl when you're out shopping on hot days.Denise Pricehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04627425586228447868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5700122686263848907.post-4816429646182200272015-08-31T10:28:01.021-05:002015-08-31T10:28:01.021-05:00Lovely shawl, that sounds a nice size anyway. Love the new poncho and I would add blue stripes into the yellow starting off thin and graduating thicker until it's just all blue just to add a bit of interest but that would just be me. Ruth. And honestly, the second half of a blanket is pretty tiresome too!

We're up for a heat wave nest week too! I won't complain though; winter'll be here soon enough and then I'll complain about that!
